Geocore 2.0.8
Geocore 2.0.8 makes a few games friendlier: GeoFall forgives a near miss, every identify game can jump back to the country you lost, and Draw the Border's Tripoint has a new way to play. Leaderboards load other players' names more reliably, and Geo AI sees more of what is on your screen.
| Area | What 2.0.8 changes | | --- | --- | | GeoFall | Snapping is Very Forgiving by default, and a drop pressed a moment early or late still counts | | Identify games | A Find target button (or Tab) brings the camera back to the country you are looking for | | Draw the Border | Tripoint gains a Pin mode: drop one pin where three countries meet | | Leaderboards | Other players' names and ranks load more reliably, with fewer requests | | Geo AI | Sees more of what each game is showing you, so its hints fit the round |
GeoFall forgives a near miss
GeoFall now starts on Very Forgiving snapping, and a piece dropped a moment before or after it passes its place still lands. Prefer a challenge? Set Snap Forgiveness to Strict in the game's settings.
Find target
Panned away and lost the country you are looking for? Press Find target (or Tab) and the camera flies back to it, in every game that asks you to find a place.
Tripoint Pin
Draw the Border's Tripoint used to ask you to draw the three borders that meet at one point. Set Tripoint Mode to Pin and you drop a single pin where you think the three meet instead; the closer you are, the higher the score, and the reveal draws the real point and the borders around it.
Leaderboards
The leaderboards now fetch other players' names and ranks in fewer requests and retry a slow answer, so rows no longer stay on "Loading…".
