Which Flag, Between Two Neighbours and Border Twists: New on Geocore

Two new games ask you to spot the flag that has been altered, and to name the country that sits between two others. Border Route gains rules to play by, Letter Chain reaches other countries' regions, and free accounts can now play 5 Multiplayer games a day, up from 2. Play on your own, as a daily, or in a lobby with friends, in your browser at geocore.fun/play.

Which Flag Is Correct?

One flag is real. The other has exactly one detail changed: a color, a star, a stripe, or an emblem turned round. Pick the real one with the 1 and 2 keys, or A and B. The reveal names the country and says what was changed. On Hard you see four flags, three of them wrong in overlapping ways, so the odd one out is no clue: you have to know the flag.

Tip: where a flag has stars, count them and check their color first.

Free with an account; Hard is part of Geocore Pro. The daily, ten flags the same for everyone, starts October 25, 2026. Play Which Flag Is Correct?

Between Two Neighbours

Two countries appear as flags, names or outlines, and exactly one country borders both. Type it, with three tries, or pick it from four. The reveal shows all three on the map. Play the world, Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas or the US states, with Clues set to Flags, Names, Outlines or Mixed.

Tip: start from the country with fewer neighbours: it gives you a short list to check.

Border Route: Twists

Border Route links a start country to an end country, border by border. The new Twist setting adds a condition: coastal countries only, landlocked only, a closed country you cannot cross, members only, or a waypoint you must pass. Random picks one for you. A country that breaks the twist is refused and costs a guess. Hard sets two at once, where the map has room for both, and is part of Geocore Pro.

Tip: read the twist before the route.

Letter Chain on any country's states and regions

Set Places to A country's divisions, choose a Country, and chain its states, prefectures or regions, each starting with the last letter of the one before. The US stays free with an account; other countries' maps are part of Geocore Pro.

Tip: keep names with an easy ending in hand for when the chain gets tight.

Every city

City Sprint can ask every city of a country, and City Heatmap's All reads every town of the country you play. Pick a country's map to use them.

Halloween week

A Halloween banner is up on the dailies page from October 24. From October 26 to November 1, the Flag Quiz daily deals ten flags with orange or black each day, and on October 30 and 31 Paint The Flag deals five.
